Andrey Morozov

President & CEO, CBOSS
Andrey Morozov is President & CEO of CBOSS Corporation, a transnational company and the largest software development organization in Eastern Europe. There are over 1200 installations of CBOSS Corporation products at 160 Clients’ sites in 34 countries around the globe. His career in IT and telecommunications spans nearly 20 years and includes extensive experience in software development, project management, marketing, sales, and virtually all aspects of CBOSS operation from product development to implementation project management.

After receiving his degree in Applied Mathematics, Andrey Morozov worked as an analyst at a governmental agency from 1986-1992. In 1992 he joined the first cellular operator in Moscow as the lead programmer. He was promoted to Project Manager for Billing Systems Development and, eventually, to the Head of Software Development. Mr. Morozov led the in-house development of the required solutions because no other solutions capable of handling the needs of an emergent fast-growing market were available at that time. The resulting product provided billing, customer care, and CRM. Moreover, as early as 1995, the system was already based on the principle of convergence and encompassed both postpaid and prepaid methodology to serve customers. The operator’s management and shareholders were highly satisfied with the functionality and system performance and did not want to invest into further R&D. As a result, Mr. Morozov’s vision led him to establish a commercial enterprise in order to develop and market a new production system under the CBOSS brand and continue developing information technologies for telecommunications.

Andrey Morozov has been in charge of CBOSS since its inception at the end of 1996. His involvement into the company operation is practically unlimited and includes strategic planning, operational management, and executive sales at the top level. His knowledge and business experience are transferred within the company using CBOSS’ own EAS system, CBOSSmis. The system is used not only for knowledge accumulation, retention and transfer but for resource management as well. As a result, CBOSS has been able to constantly expand its operations and increase its personnel without limitations on flexibility or manageability.

In 2003, Mr. Morozov personally supervised acquisition of an Internet billing solution, Absolut, from Servocom, Russia and in 2004 the OBS business (originating from Nokia data IT practice) from Fujitsu Services, Finland. During the acquisition process he also was focused on merging corporate cultures which led all companies involved to an organic assimilation into the current single CBOSS business. This also allowed the creation of a truly complex and integrated but simultaneously modular, convergent, high-end solution.

Due to his visionary business approach and human resources management, the company has doubled its income every year and has grown to 2500 employees. There are currently 60 modular product offerings with a number of newer solutions in the pipeline. Mr. Morozov’s unique combination of business skills and hands-on experience in product development and implementation contributes to the company’s success and allows CBOSS to occupy a leading position in the industry.

As the CBOSS mission ideologist, Mr. Morozov, among his other activities, has founded a charity fund, “CBOSS-Region”, operating in one of the underprivileged but the most ecologically clean areas in Russia in order to support its development through financial investments and high-tech knowledge promotion among the local schools. Andrey has also established a corporate resort in this picturesque area. The resort is used for business meetings, seminars, and conferences as well as enjoyed by CBOSS employees, valuable Customers and Partners.
