This is What We Call Health Day

The morning of August 1, 2008 was bright, sunny and friendly! This is, however, almost always the case, when the company celebrates its corporate Health Day. The marvelous weather and anticipation of a holiday created a perfect mood for CBOSS employees. In the most cheerful spirits, a friendly team of hundreds of CBOSS employees got into the buses and went for a picnic – to relax!

The Health Day was held very close to Moscow: near the Aksakovo village on the shore of the beautiful Pyalov reservoir, which was turned into a magic country Avalon

Each CBOSS employee invited a friend or relative, which gave the party a truly warm atmosphere.

Participants were offered a variety of games and fairy-tale adventures (it is a magic country after all!). CBOSS employees finally got a chance to demonstrate not only their creativity and sharp minds, but also some less obvious talents. Suddenly, many of us turned out born treasure seekers, pathfinders, hunters, and great football, volleyball or tennis players.

The most dexterous went for some more difficult tasks – like riding aqua skippers, bikes with pedals instead of the handle bar or even trickier bicycles (note: impressions are unforgettable!).

Those who wanted to challenge their minds got into the giant inflatable labyrinth and managed to get out of it just before dinner. Fans of classic games ceremoniously played croquet or Scandinavian billiards. Striving to be acknowledged as the most accurate, gunmen and archers competed in rifle, bow, arbalest or even slingshot shooting.

Water games were the culmination of the program. In his usual role of the captain, CBOSS President Andrey Morozov steered the yacht. Anyone who wanted to sail across the lake was welcome to join the President aboard. But of course the yacht could not take everyone at once, so participants had to divide into small groups. Alexander Ivakhin, Senior VP at CBOSS, was enjoying his duty to deliver passengers to the yacht on a motor boat.

The second part of the event was a traditional show program and disco for those who were still able to dance after the whole day of playing (and there was an amazing lot of such enthusiasts).

Winners of all the numerous competitions got their deserved prizes, and everyone else did not go away without a nice surprise.

The truly fairy-tale fireworks became a perfect conclusion of the day. But to call it merely a holiday is a massive understatement. A bright, unforgettable, amazing, impressive, indescribable and unique Health Day – that is what it was!
