he ORASOFT'S voice mail system was installed at PrimTelephone CJSC, Vladivostok, on 15 July 1997. In its operation, the system has proved to be a convenient and useful solution enjoying great customer demand. On average, the services is ordered by 40 subscriber in a week, which is ten times as many as the demand for other supplementary services (such as conferencing, barring outgoing calls, etc.). ORASOFT'S voice mail system is reliable in its operation, and does not require any complex subscriber handset operations. Operating the voice mail system has shown that it boosts revenue through calls to get access to mail boxes. Without the system, the calls would just not have taken place. We believe that the system can be improved by adding the functionality of listening to messages immediately during the system voice mail notification, without subscriber's having to make an additional call to access his/her voice mail box. |
