CBOSS Social Initiative Appreciated

On June 23, 2004, CBOSS Association was awarded the Contribution to Industry Development and Social Programs Implementation honorary award at the 2nd All-Russian Congress “The State and Socially Responsible Business”. Among the participants of the Congress sessions were the representatives of the Russian President’s Administration, the Russian Government, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, public organizations, as well as Russian and foreign financial industrial groups. The Congress was dedicated to developing a dialog between authorities and business, creating a new socially oriented image of Russian entrepreneurs, promoting a healthy lifestyle, etc. In addition, recommendations on the key directions of Russian business participation in the state social policy were formulated.
CBOSS has accumulated considerable experience, which it is ready to share with other businessmen. This ranges from creating jobs for qualified specialists and improving working conditions and recreational facilities for its staff, to implementing numerous projects on supporting the Russian system of higher education and rendering targeted social assistance to veterans and disabled people. Therefore, it is not by chance that CBOSS social initiative was highly evaluated by the Congress steering committee and its participants. The Congress will, undoubtedly, contribute to enhancing the social responsibility of business, which is actively advocated by CBOSS Association.
