HP and CBOSS Sign OEM Agreement

Through the agreement CBOSS purchases HP Non Stop Tandem server and HP OpenCall INS software.

HiTEK magazine (UAE), june - july 2004

The agreement is of supreme importance for the telecom market in Russia. It is for the first time that a Russian developer of software for telecoms acquires international level and aligns its business to the largest global providers of telecommunication services.
HP equipment will become the platform for CBOSSrtb, the solution positioned for telecom enterprises. HP will render comprehensive support to solutions provided by CBOSS.
«CBOSS has become our key partner in the telecom market. We hope that the experience and business relations of CBOSS will help HP expand its presence in this market segment,» commented Sergey Razmakhaev, head of telecom division of Enterprise Systems Group (ESG), HP Russia.
«This [agreement] is the evidence that the attitude of leading global manufacturers to Russian software developers has changed. Now, CBOSS can provide complete, competitive hi-tech solutions to the global telecom market,» said Andrey Morozov, President of CBOSS Association.
CBOSS receives HP Channel Excellence Award.
In another development, CBOSS announced it has received the HP OpenCall Channel Excellence Award at HP Business Perspectives in Italy. CBOSS was one of five HP OpenCall partners to be rewarded for its excellent work with important clients. The award is given every year to successful partners with the aim to further encourage cooperation between HP and its partners.
A special thanks was given to CBOSS for its outstanding performance in a customer installation project realized in Colombia. In 2003, CBOSS and HP together delivered rtBilling, a real-time billing solution developed by CBOSS, to start-up Colombia Movil GSM carrier. Five months after the launch of its OLA branded services, Colombia Movil has managed to capture a 12 percent market share with 800,000 customers, and further growth is expected.
