Flying Legends: THANK YOU FOR THE FEAST!

«Flying Legends» Military Historical Exhibition organized by the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian Air Forces, «Victory — 1945» International Fund is a large complex labor-intensive event that requires significant financial support. Fortunately, there are always people who are ready to help.

Aviation exhibits for «Flying Legends» military historical exhibition dedicated to the Second World War had to be transported from Check Republic, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Ukraine, and Switzerland. It is not easy to organize such an exhibition, to invite participants from many countries, to find sponsors of the event. However the organizers of the exhibition were sure they would succeed.
On behalf of the organizing party, we express our gratitude to those who helped to organize the event by their participation or financially. Owing to you, visitors of the «Flying Legends» could observe a unique exhibition that was definitely worth seeing.
First of all, we would like to thank «Streamline OPS» CJSC for organizing transportation of foreign exhibits to Russia. According to Andrey Zarembo, Head of Aviation Department of the company and a former flight navigator at civil aviation, the owners of international aircrafts exhibited at «Flying Legends» in cooperation with «Streamline OPS» specialists and the Association of Pilots worked out and followed the course line for the planes over Europe and Byelorussia to Monino airdrome. Belorussia did not charge the participants of the event for transit flight on the territory of the country.
«Streamline» is a part of the holding headed by Leonid Koshelev. Its services — VIP transportation — are not typical for Russia, though considered to be quite promising.
«TOAP» company and its General Manager E. Ostrovsky actively participated in the event. The company provided fuel for the exhibited aircrafts.
«Aerocom» company provided telecommunication services.
Such giants as «Gasprom», «Russian Railroads» OJSC, «Saturn» SPG, «Sual Holding» OJSC also contributed to successful organization of the aviation show.
Most Russian people honor the memory of the heroes fallen during the Second World War. It was obvious when we were looking for sponsor assistance to organize the event. CBOSS Association, «EastLine» Group, «Saturn», and other companies willingly helped to organize the demonstration of long distance, fighter and assault aircrafts of Russian Air Forces. Owing to these companies, visitors of the exhibition could see modern jets and real aircrafts that took part in the Second World War, piloted by aces at «Flying Legends». Single and group flights including aerobatics, imitation of an aviation attack on an airdrome and other events made the exhibition an interesting aviation show.
Insurance for the participants of the event was provided by another official partner — «SOGAZ», an integrated insurance business with over 10 years of successful operation, a part of «Gazprom» business group. «SOGAZ» is one of the leading Russian insurance companies.
