CBOSS to Control Absolute

CBOSS Association, a leading Russian provider of high-tech integrated solutions for telecoms announces a purchase of exclusive rights on Absolute billing, solution for ISP and IP telephony operators, from ServoComp.

Absolute system is one of the leaders on the Russian market of billing solutions for ISP and Internet telephony operators. More than 50 customers in six countries use the system to back their business processes.

CBOSS provides a complete suite of solutions for comprehensive automation of business processes and customer care operations for operators working in every telecom standard. Implementation of the deal will join the efforts of the two enterprises. Andrey Morozov, president of CBOSS Association comments, “This is a merger of two promising technologies for cooperation in billing for Internet aspect rather than a malicious acquisition.”

Absolute billing enjoyed a successful implementation policy that yielded dozens of strong customers. The new stage will see a consolidation of Absolute trademark marketing resource and advanced technical and technological capabilities of CBOSS. Expanding market influence through purchasing rights on the product of another provider is a typical phenomenon in the West, but quite new on the Russian market of IT for telecoms solutions.

Outstanding functionalities make convergent solutions from CBOSS standing out in the range of similar products available from Russian and Western providers. Combined efforts will allow the Association to open new markets.

CBOSS is confident that 50 operators, the customers of Absolute billing and 80 customers of CBOSS Association would benefit in the result of this deal. A comprehensive infrastructure including enterprise-level development, 24/7 technical support, outstanding track record of implementation excellence, constant equipment reserve for hot replacement, certified training center is at their service. 

Further development of Internet-billing is on agenda for CBOSS. This challenge requires from the company a larger team of professionals. Association pursues active human assets policy, hiring dozens of new employees monthly. Special emphasis is given to professional training of specialists. The Association establishes working links with institutions of higher education that envisage specialization disciplines for students, and involves senior year students in production cycle.
