AZERFON Wins with the Best Customer Self Service System

The World Summit Award 2007, a global initiative to select and promote the world's best e-Content, has selected an Azerbaijani mobile operator AZERFON and its comprehensive self-service system 'Me and Nar Mobile' based on the convergent solution from CBOSS as the recipient of its special award in the e-Business category.

AZERFON started its business in 2007 under the Nar Mobile brand. From the very beginning, the company offered its customers over 70 services, outnumbering even established mobile operators working more than 10 years in the Azerbaijani telecom market.

AZERFON's Me and Nar Mobile is an end-to-end customer self-service system that employs voice, SMS, USSD, and WEB channels, enabling subscribers to retrieve call and payment data, activate and deactivate services, change tariffs, etc.

The system functionality is based on the CBOSS products including the automatic customer care system CBOSSacc, Internet customer service CBOSSics, short message service center CBOSSsms, USSD center CBOSSussd, and Java SIM Application Toolkit-based content service platform CBOSSjavaS@T.

Me and Nar Mobile was awarded by the World Summit Award 2007 in the e-Business category. The diploma and commemorative trophy were presented to AZERFON CEO John Armley.
