Roaming provisioning is one of the main tasks of a contemporary telecom operator.
Subscriber base growth causes high load on the telco’s database server, which affects roaming provisioning efficiency. CBOSS Association has developed a proprietary solution CBOSSroam that is to solve the problem.
CBOSSroam has an independent database containing roaming-related objects only including roaming partner attributes (roaming agreement, account, tariff, switch, etc.) and general subscriber data (IMSI ranges).
CBOSSroam is an end-to-end roaming support solution, which provides the whole cycle of interaction with roaming partners including mutual set-off, which is especially important for telecom operators having a widespread dealer network.

CBOSSroam Data Flow Diagram is shown below:

• Call distribution subsystem processes the CDR files from the switch, distributing the CDRs across two subgroups: home network calls and roamer’s calls. Home network calls are downloaded and rated by the telco’s OSS, whereas roamer’s calls are rated by CBOSSroam.
• CBOSSroam delivers telco's "own" subscribers roaming files to the telco’s OSS.
• CBOSSroam exchanges roaming-related data (roaming files, fraud statistics files, reports and bills) with roaming partners.
• Roaming partners may browse the data via web-interface.
