System Operation
The subscriber sends and receives SMS in a special format. CBOSSicq2sms provides mobile subscribers with all ICQ messaging functionalities.
ICQ messaging
To send an ICQ message, the subscriber enters message text and sends it to the CBOSSicq2sms number, accompanied by the destination Universal Internet Number (UIN). The message reaches the switch and is forwarded to the SMSC. After the analysis, error free messages are sent to the ICQ server and delivered to destination.
Command execution
The subscriber specifies the necessary formatted command in the message body. From the SMSC the message is routed to CBOSSicq2sms for analysis.
Erroneous commands are not executed, and the subscriber is notified. Correct commands are executed, the results being sent as SMS.
