The rtBilling hardware platform is based on HP NonStop servers built on the unique ServerNet architecture. These servers ensure unsurpassed availability by providing fully redundant hardware components and system connections, as well as fault-tolerant software. Each server processor has a separate instance of the NonStop Kernel operation system. Any application is run concurrently on two processors, which provides undisrupted operation in case of application failures. Due to the features of the ServerNet architecture, HP NonStop servers ensure performance growth when the number of processors is increased. It is also worthy of note that unsurpassed scalability is reached in cluster configurations allowing the usage of systems with more than 4000 processors.
HP NonStop S88000 ServerThe flagship of the HP NonStop servers series is S88000 built on the basis of 64-b RISC processors MIPS R16000. This server allows implementing complex transactions by maintaining all the benefits of NonStop Kernel operating system: continuous availability, data integrity, distributed transaction processing and security.
